North East Cebu - Roadtrip

There's a sunrise and sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.

When travelling my very first question would always be " Nindut ang Sunset or Sunrise didtu? " . I'll admit I love sunset and sunrises , who wouldn't right? Imagine the sky in orange, blue and pink!

North Cebu had always been one of best site for sunrises.

November of last year, we went for a roadtrip with my barkadas down North East of Cebu. And our first stop is at Bawo , Sogod.

and luckily I got the chance to witness one of the best sunrise I've ever seen .

Sogod is the 4th municipal income class municipality in the province of Cebu. It is 61 kilometers North of Cebu.

Sogod is visayan term for " start " , locals said the town is so named because it is place of beginnings.

Sogod shares boundaries with Borbon on the North, Catmon on the South, Tuburan and Tabuelan on the West, and Camotes Sea on the East.

I will sure be back for more sun Sunrises to catch!

and next stop would be Salag, Tabogon, Cebu.

TABOGON is the 3rd municipal income class of municipality of province of Cebu.

TABOGON comes from a visayan word , TABOG which means ' busy ' in reference with bustling and busy farm fields that dotted this place during the old times.

we decided to conquer this very steep place because of the very famous Hanging Bridge in which we had a very hard time searching for it , HAHAHAHA!!   but still everything is so worth it after we had found it!

I don't have fear in heights but seeing the hanging bridge , I suddenly got butterflies in my tummy! and I am very aware I am not in love HAHAHA!!!

but amidst all , I dont want to miss the adventure so Id still step to that Hanging Bridge and you just cant imagine, how scared and I am,  cant hardly make another step because of the terror I am feeling. HAHAHA! and para sa Blog! Go lang ng Go!

Roaming around we have discovered something that got takes a breath away!

We thought it was something of a secret passage on a secret Kingdom that we're about to discover! HAHAHA but nope! It was an old fisherman place and crab and shrimps I dont know the exact term but yeah thats it , it got destroyed by several storms that I had passed through the years.

truly TABOGON is indeed is a magical place.

next stop Tanon Strait of San Remigio, Cebu.

                                    SAN JUAN NEPOMUCENO PARISH CHURCH

SAN REMIGIO is a 3rd municipal income class municipality in the province of Cebu.

Municipality of San Remegio is known to be the longest shoreline in Cebu.

I cried because my file for San Remegio got corrupted and I can't be able to share my pictures. But I would still be sharing my short experience in San Remegio.

Just behind the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church the famous Tanon Strait can be found.

Tanon Strait lies between the island of Negros and Cebu, which is about  161 kilometers long , connected the Visayan Sea in the north to the Bohol Sea in the south. Click  www.tanonstrait.org for more info's and pictures for Tanon Strait.

Tanon Strait in San Remegio is a public beach which there is no entrance fee and is run by the local government. The place is very lively because it is one of the beaches in San Remegio that is most visited by the tourists because of the never ending shoreline , crystal clear and white sand. And you don't have to worry about where to buy foods/goodies or drinks because just nearby you can find Restaus and Sari-Sari stores, and there is also a vast parking area.

and before the sun sets we decided to go back to Sogod and call the day end.

we take via BOGO this time.

we side trip  and stop at SAN VICENTE FERRER PARISH CHURCH to give thanks for a successful trip that weekend.

so far that was best road trip in my entire travel experience. We've got to travel at least 4 Municipalities in the North. And I can't wait for my next road trip with my squad!! Suggestions is deeply appreciated :)

TEMPLE OF LEAH

Because of his undying love to his wife  Mr. Teodorico Adarna  built a temple as a symbol of his devotion and everlasting love to , Leah , his wife.        The construction of Temple of Leah started in 2012 , the estate is still undergoing development.   Temple of Leah gives a great view of Metro Cebu – overlooking the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-lapu.    The view and the ancient feel and vibes ala Roman times of Temple of Leah are one of the mainly reasons why tourists drop by the attraction. The easiest way of transpo going to Temple of Leah , maybe ( hahaha cause daghan kaayu sila nagtapok ddtu sa may JY )A rideof  habal-habal from JY Square. Be sure that you and the driver have come to an agreement on how much the fare is before hopping on for the trip.    Temple of Leah management charges 50PhP entrance fee per guest, and is open 6 AM to 11 PM. True love is not a strong, fiery, impetuous passion.
